Building a partnership with a school is a complex and ongoing process that goes far beyond showing up to teach a class.  We’ll walk through a “partnership checklist” of the tools we have found work best for establishing and maintaining open lines of communication and clear mutual expectations for program outcomes.

Participants will:

·      Examine the needs of their own programs in the context of school partnership.

·      Develop a program timeline which includes pre-program preparation and post-program assessment relevant to the needs of their organization.

·      Understand the unique challenges and larger context facing school partners and their stakeholders.

·      Brainstorm systems of ongoing communication that best fit different types and styles of partnership.
